Locusts strip the land, then the Spirit is poured out.
- A plague of locusts strips field, vine, and grain, and priests and people are told to lament, fast, and cry to the LORD.
- The day of the LORD comes like an army, yet he says to return with a torn heart, and he promises his Spirit on all flesh.
- The nations are gathered in the valley of judgment, and the LORD roars from Zion, a refuge for his people and a fountain for his land.
