No other gospel. Faith. Freedom in the Spirit.
- Paul marvels that they are turning to a different gospel, and he insists his apostleship came through a revelation of Jesus Christ.
- He refuses to yield to those who would compel Titus, opposes Peter at Antioch, and confesses that he lives by faith in the Son of God.
- The Galatians began by the Spirit, Abraham was counted righteous by faith, and Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law.
- In the fullness of time God sent His Son to redeem those under the law, so that they might receive adoption as sons.
- Freedom in Christ is not an opportunity for the flesh, and those who walk by the Spirit bear the Spirit's fruit and are not under the law.
Session 2 · Galatians 6
Bear the burden. Boast only in the cross.
- Restore the fallen gently, bear one another's burdens, sow to the Spirit, and boast only in the cross by which the world is crucified.
